Part of ׳Ahitophel׳ exhibition at Third floor on the Left, Tel Aviv. 2020
The work was exhibited during the Covid-19 lockdown at the curator Meital Aviram’s apartment. Atop of Aviram’s bed, broken crowd control barriers puff up from an ashtray. The barriers, remnants of a recent demonstration, reenact an escapist moment within the homeowner’s life routine in her intimate space. The work extends outside the window frame, serving both as security window bars and as a warning sign- a cloud of smoke coming out the window.

העבודה הוצגה בחלל הפרויקטים ׳אופנובנק׳, הממוקם בבניין משרדי בנק לשעבר. חדר התערוכה מצטרף לארכיטקטורה הקיימת כחלל מעבר, כשאת קיר הכניסה מכסה וילון משרדי ואת הקיר שממול- דלתות מעלית ששימשו את הבנק ואשר נמצאו בעליית הגג. כשהן נעות בין הדו מימד לתלת, העבודות בתערוכה מייצרות תעתוע ואחיזת עיניים, ומבקשות לעורר את הפער שבין החזית- חזות משרדית מהוגנת- לבין המנגנון העברייני המסתתר מאחוריה.
