The body of work consists of repeating elements in varying compositions: concrete and steel construction waste, a supermarket cart, a cosmetics company’s plastic bag with a printed portrait of Mariah Carey, the brand's presenter, a sewage pipe and a manhole cover with a stamped logo of the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Municipality. These objects were found near my studio, in the neglected southern area of the city, and seek to connect this environment with the surroundings of the exhibition space, the city center and Rothschild Boulevard in particular.
The assemblage consists of these elements ,and the installation it creates imitates a traditional display: busts placed on podiums, facing the viewer. Within this conservative structure I was interested in uncovering the contemporary urban-economic mechanisms generating the migration of these objects to the south of the city. Alongside these objects, my bicycle sketching out my daily route from my home to the studio, with the exhibition space placed in between. One of the sculptures, made of a sign post that was dislodged following a car accident, collapses on top of the bicycle, trapping it in the exhibition space.

גוף העבודות מורכב ממספר אלמנטים החוזרים על עצמם בקומפוזיציות משתנות: פסולת בניין עשויה בטון וברזל, עגלת סופרמרקט, שקית ניילון של חברת קוסמטיקה עם פניה של מריה קארי, פרזנטורית החברה, צינור ניקוז ומכסה ביוב עם סמל עיריית תל אביב- יפו מוטבע על גביו. האובייקטים הללו נמצאו בסביבת הסטודיו שלי, התחנה המרכזית הישנה בדרום העיר, ומבקשים לחבר בין סביבה זו לבין סביבת חלל התערוכה, מרכז העיר ושדרות רוטשילד בפרט.
פעולת האסמבלז׳ וההצבה נענות למבנה שמרני של תצוגת אמנות: פסלי ראש המוצבים על פודיומים ומביטים אל עבר המבקר בתערוכה. מתוך כך ביקשתי להעלות אל פני השטח את סימני השוק ואת המנגנונים האורבניים והכלכליים המניעים את נדידת החפצים הללו אל דרום העיר. לצד חפצים אלו, האופניים שלי מתארות את מסלול הרכיבה היומיומי שעשיתי מהבית אל הסטודיו, כשחלל התצוגה ביניהם. הן נלכדות בחלל זה כשאחד הפסלים, עשוי תמרור שנעקר ממדרכת הרחוב עקב תאונה, קורס על גביהם.
